View Saint Joseph Abbey Caskets

Saint Joseph Abbey caskets are built on the Abbey grounds by monks, employees and volunteers. Two types of caskets are offered, traditional and monastic, and each is offered in mahogany or cypress. Each casket also has a Benedictine cross engraved on its side. Caskets are always in stock, and delivery, depending on location, may be available. Proceeds from the sales of caskets support the needs of the Abbey and help maintain its communal life and apostolates.

Our traditional and monastic caskets are available in either mahogany or cypress.
Traditional-style caskets have wooden handles on each side with a raised top.
Monastic-style caskets have metal handles on each side. Both have a Benedictine cross engraved on the side.
Traditional caskets are 17 3/4 inches high, 29 inches wide (handle to handle), 22 3/4 inches interior, and 82 inches long.
Monastic caskets: 16 inches high, 25 1/2 inches wide (handle to handle), 22 3/4 inches interior, and 79 1/2 inches long.

We have both styles in stock and ready for delivery. We make every attempt to deliver your casket as soon as possible. If it is within our local area, same day delivery is available.
The price includes delivery within 150 miles roundtrip of the Abbey. A trip of more than 150 miles roundtrip requires an additional charge.
